Environmental Specialist

Horrocks Engineers is seeking an entry to mid-level Environmental/NEPA Specialist (4 years plus of experience) to provide support to a broad team of environmental and engineering professionals in our Pleasant Grove, UT office.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include environmental document preparation, assisting staff with field studies, collecting and organizing data, technical report preparation, and coordination with state and federal government agencies relating to the National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA).

Requirements

  • BS/MS in environmental science or related field
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented and be able to work under tight deadlines and budgets
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, ArcGIS, CAD
  • Capable and willing to perform field tasks in varying weather and terrain conditions

Job Description

Horrocks Engineers Human Resources Manager proactively provides accurate, timely, and effective Human Resources support in accordance to best practice standards and organizational priorities.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Visualize and implement Horrocks Engineers vision and core values
  • Coordinate with key departments to drive the seamless and effective on-boarding of new employees
