Horrocks Engineers Sponsors Second Annual Blood Drive In an effort to help the community and aid in the constant need for donated blood, Horrocks Engineers is sponsoring the second annual “Blood Battle 2012” blood drive April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2162 W. Grove Parkway, Pleasant Grove. We are also hosting a second donation station at the Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain.
Horrocks has made this a friendly competition to see which northern Utah County city can get the most blood donors for the American Red Cross. Horrocks and other local business employees can choose which city to put their donation towards.
At last year’s Blood Battle, we were able to reach our goal of more than 100 donors, 38 of which were first-time donors. We would like to exceed the 100 donors during this drive. The team with the most donors will receive prizes and be named “Blood Battle 2012” Champion. Blood drive participants will receive a free “Blood Battle 2012” t-shirt and refreshments. Area residents are encouraged to participate and support the city of their choosing.
