Horrocks Employees Help Those in Need for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Horrocks believes in bettering our community and helping those in need. For the Holiday Season, many of our offices helped to make someone’s season a little brighter and more hopeful. Here are just some of the ways our employees made a difference:
Pleasant Grove and Heber, Utah Offices
Horrocks’ Pleasant Grove and Heber offices raised almost $3,000 in December for the Community Action Services and Food Bank. The funds went towards their program that helps homeless families find safe housing.
These offices also donated 500 pounds of food at Thanksgiving time to the Community Action Services and Food Bank, which gives food to people in need.
Roosevelt, Utah
Staff members in the Roosevelt office gathered and donated 107 pounds of food for the Duchesne County Food Pantry just in time for Christmas.
Nampa, Idaho
The Nampa staff teamed with the LDS Middleton 7th Ward Young Men and Women to participate in a scavenger hunt for items to donate to the Mercy House, a women and children’s shelter in Nampa, Idaho. The youth visited various homes willing to donate items such as gloves, scarves, coats, toiletries, common household items, and food. Staff donations were combined with the youth group’s collected items and delivered to the shelter a few days before Christmas.
